These terms apply to every transfer booked with Dutch Taxi Services, whether through this website, by email, by telephone or through WhatsApp. Please read them before you complete your booking.

1. How a booking is made
A booking request is not a confirmed booking. Your transfer is confirmed only when you receive a written booking confirmation from us by email. The confirmation states the pickup address, the destination, the pickup time, the vehicle type and the total price.
Please check your confirmation as soon as you receive it. If any detail is wrong, contact us straight away. We plan your journey on the basis of the details in the confirmation.
2. Prices
All prices are fixed and agreed before you travel. The price shown when you book is the total you pay. It includes VAT, tolls and standard road charges. There is no meter and no surge pricing.
Additional charges apply only where they are disclosed to you in advance, for example extra waiting time beyond the free period, an extra stop you request during the journey, or a change to the destination.
3. Payment
Payment is made online at the time of booking, or as otherwise agreed and stated in your booking confirmation. Online payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not store your full card details.
A receipt is issued for every journey. Business customers can request an invoice.
4. Airport pickups and flight monitoring
When you give us your flight number, we monitor your flight and adjust the pickup time if you land early or late. You do not need to contact us about a delay that we can see.
Free waiting time for arrivals is measured from the actual landing time:
45 minutes for intercontinental arrivals
30 minutes for European arrivals
For all other pickups, free waiting time is 15 minutes from the agreed pickup time.
Waiting beyond the free period is charged at the rate stated in your booking confirmation, calculated per started period of 15 minutes.
5. Departure transfers
For departure transfers you tell us your flight time and we set the pickup time. We build in a margin for traffic. If you ask us to depart later than the pickup time we recommend, we carry out the journey as you instruct, but we cannot accept responsibility for a missed flight caused by that choice.
6. Changes to a booking
Contact us as early as possible if you need to change a booking. We will do our best to accommodate a change, but a change is only effective once we confirm it in writing. A change of destination, vehicle type or passenger number may change the price.
7. Cancellation
Cancellations must be sent to us in writing, by email or through the contact details in your booking confirmation. The time of cancellation is the time we receive your message.
More than 24 hours before the pickup time, no charge
Between 24 hours and 6 hours before the pickup time, 50 percent of the fare
Less than 6 hours before the pickup time, the full fare
If we have to cancel a booking, for example because of a vehicle failure or a road closure, we offer you a replacement vehicle where possible. If we cannot carry out the journey at all, we refund the full amount you paid.
8. No-show
If you do not appear at the pickup point and we cannot reach you on the telephone number you gave us, the booking is treated as a no-show and the full fare is due.
For airport pickups, this applies once the free waiting time has passed. Please keep your telephone switched on and reachable after landing.
9. Luggage, child seats and passengers
Book a vehicle that suits your group and your luggage. Luggage capacity is stated for each vehicle. If you arrive with more luggage or more passengers than booked, we may not be able to carry you and the fare may still be due.
Baby seats, child seats and booster cushions are provided free of charge on request. Please request them when you book and tell us the age of the child. Dutch law requires the correct restraint for the child's height and weight.
10. Conduct during the journey
Seat belts must be worn. Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is not permitted in our vehicles. The driver may refuse or end a journey where a passenger behaves in a way that is unsafe, abusive or unlawful. In that case the full fare remains due.
If a vehicle is soiled or damaged by a passenger, we may charge the reasonable cost of cleaning or repair.
11. Lost property
Please check the vehicle before you leave. If you leave something behind, contact us as soon as possible. We keep found items for a reasonable period and return them where we can, at your cost. We are not liable for items left in a vehicle.
12. Liability
We carry out every journey with due care and we are insured as required for passenger transport in the Netherlands.
We are not liable for delay or loss caused by circumstances outside our control, including traffic congestion, road closures, accidents, extreme weather, strikes or instructions from the authorities. We are not liable for indirect loss such as missed connections, lost bookings or lost income, except where the loss results from intent or gross negligence on our part.
13. Complaints
If something goes wrong, tell us. Send your complaint to info@dutchtaxiservices.nl within 14 days of the journey, with your booking reference. We confirm receipt and aim to respond substantively within 14 days.
14. Right of withdrawal
Passenger transport on a specified date is excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts under Dutch law. The cancellation terms in section 7 apply instead.
15. Applicable law
Dutch law applies to these terms and to every transport contract we enter into with you. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
16. Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms. The version published on this page at the moment you book applies to that booking.
